Paige Davis will join the Tony-winning Broadway revival of Chicago for her second stint as Roxie Hart beginning April 18. Davis, who previously made her Broadway debut as the Merry Murderess in 2004, replaces Amy Spanger. Chicago continues its hit run at the Ambassador Theatre.
Davis has performed in the U.S. national tour and Las Vegas productions of Chicago. She starred as Gloria in the 2008 Broadway revival of Boeing-Boeing. Davis is best known as the star of the TV design-reality show Trading Spaces. Her other stage credits include Beauty and the Beast, The Vagina Monologues, I Do! I Do!, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and Company.
Chicago currently stars Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Adam Pascal as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, Christine Pedi as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
Broadway.com Audience Choice Award host Wendy Williams is also set to join the show as Mama Morton on June 25.
